برنامج CCleaner يقوم البرنامج بتنظيف وحدة التخزين الرئيسية للتخلص من جميع الملفات المؤقتة Temporary Files والملفات الغير ضرورية التي تخزن علي الحاسب أثناء تعامل المستخدم مع مواقع الإنترنت . وبرنامج CCleaner يقوم بإلغاء هذه الملفات أوتوماتيكيا أياً كان برنامج تصفح الإنترنت الذي تتعامل معه. فالبرنامج يستطيع إلغاء الملفات المؤقتة التي تخزن علي الحاسب من خلال برنامج Internet Explorer أو برنامج Firefox كما يستطيع أيضا التخلص من قائمة المواقع التي قام المستخدم بزيارتها من قبل History وملفات الكوكيز
كما انه يدعم جميع المتصفحات بما فيها المتصفح الجديد Flock
